Following the footsteps of Madonna, Rihanna and Kylie Jenner, it's Victoria Beckham's turn to launch her own cosmetics brand. Named Victoria Beckham Beauty, the brand represents many years of work. Beckham has decided to start a beauty line because she wants to take care of women "from the inside as well as the outside" by offering them essentials in terms of makeup and beauty care alongside her celebrated runway collections. She had already put her foot in the world of cosmetics after a collaboration with Estée Lauder, with a limited edition of cosmetics, which was released with much acclaim, encouraging her to start this new beauty venture.
According to Beckham, these cosmetic products are scientifically based, created in collaboration with a talented cosmetic team. Though the packaging is the epitome of chic and modern luxury, customers can rest assured that not only are they sustainably created but also non-toxic and cruelty free. Beckham also strives to be as inclusive as possible - with items designed for a large range of skin types and ages. Key items to look out for are her signature "Smoky Eye Wardrobe", "Your Perfect Pout" lip kit, "Lid Lustre", and satin eyeliner.
This is not the first time that the ex-"Spice Girl" has been challenging herself. In 2007, she started her fashion career with a denim line, dvb Denim, and a range of sunglasses called VB Eyewear. In 2008 she launched her ready-to-wear brand, Victoria Beckham, during New York Fashion Week. After the success of this luxury collection, she launched the lower-priced Victoria by Victoria Beckham label in 2011. Her brand includes luxury handbags, denim, eyewear, and fragrance.
